Day 1: Hanoi arrival – street food tour, water puppet show – night market (food taste)
Our driver welcomes you at the airport and then be transferred to check-in hotel.
3.00 pm: enjoy your visit to discover the beauty of Hoan Kiem lake, take a spectacular water puppetry show to know about the culture of famers in the North of Vietnam. After that, take your time to enjoy the walking tour around Hanoi old quarter areas, taste good street food, a corner beer, a local coffee “Café Da”… Back to your hotel by 7.30 pm. The rest of time is free. Have a chance to see the Hanoi night market in the Old Quarter areas, helds on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.Overnight in Ha Noi.
Day 2: Hanoi – Ha Long Bay (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
7.30 am: Pick up from your hotel in Hanoi. Drive to Halong city through the paddy fields in the Red River Delta.
12.00 noon – 1.00 pm: Arrive in Tuan Chau wharf – Breaking and taking photo at Glory Legend private lounge
1.00 – 3.30 pm: Check in and enjoy welcome drink, receive cruise brief and safety instruction by crew member and cruise manager
Start cruising. Enjoy set menu lunch while cruising to magnificent Halong Bay – Bai Tu Long Bay, admire the fascinating formations on the way. You will have opportunity to see the famous rocks such as: Perfume Rock, Fighting Cock, Lonely Rock, Saddle Rock…. before arrives to “Vung Viêng” village.
3.30 – 5.30 pm: Visit “Vung Viêng” village by a rustic – row boat, meet the local people who will help you row the boat for sightseeing. Enjoy quiet space and fresh air, you will feel truly relaxing.
5.30 – 7.30 pm: Back to the boat and free time for relaxing
7.00 – 9.00 pm: Dinner is served. Private dinner is available on request.
9.00 – 10.00 pm: Join squid fishing with the crew, sing karaoke or just laze around, relax in your cabin.
Day 3: Ha Long Bay – Hanoi(Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
6.00 – 9.00 am: Taking part in Tai Chi class on the sundeck (duration about 30 minutes)
Coffee, tea and pastries… for breakfast are served in the dining room with morning view of bay’s landscape.
Transfer by tender to Sung Sot cave. Walk up about 100 steps to the cave entrance. It takes approximately 45 minutes for cave visiting. Return to the boat by tender. Proper shoes are highly recommended.
9.00 – 11.30 am: Check out and make payment in reception area
Have a set menu brunch while cruising back to the Tuan Chau wharf. Relax on the sundeck or in the dining room enjoying the bay scenery as approaching the wharf.
11.30 am: Transfer by tender to Tuan Chau wharf. Say goodbye to the crew
12.00 noon – 4.30 pm: Return from Halong to Hanoi by shuttle bus
Stop over the middle to visit a traditional workshop
4.00 – 4.30 pm: Arrive Ha Noi.Overnight in Hanoi
Day 4: Hanoi – full day sightseeing – fly to Danang – Hoian (Breakfast, Lunch)
8.00 am: your local tour guide welcomes you at hotel & enjoys a full day city tour starting with the Ho Chi Minh complex included the mausoleum, his house & complex monument, one pillar of pagoda “Chua Dien Huu” then to beautiful Westlake and Tran Quoc pagoda. Lunch included.
In the afternoon, continue your trip to the impressive ethnological museum, dedicated to Vietnam’s 54 ethnic groups for understanding more about the culture, costume of 54 ethnic groups. Later on, go to the temple of literature, well known as the first university of Vietnam. After visiting, directly transfer to the airport for afternoon flight to Danang.
Note: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum closed on Monday, Friday & afternoons, you can see from outside and visit his complex monument
Vietnam Ethnology Museum closed on Monday will be replaced by a visit to Vietnamese women’s museum and Hilton prison
Upon arrival, your driver pick-up you from the Danang airport, transfer to your hotel in Hoian.Overnight in Hoian.
Day 5: Cham museum – My Son Holy Land – Hoi An ancient town (Breakfast, Lunch)
7.30 am: drive 30 min. to visit Cham museum in Danang to understand about the Cham culture, then continue about 1,5 hour ride to reach My Son – one of the most stunning sights in the Hoi An area. My Son is considered as UNESCO World Heritage Site. During the centuries when Tra Kieu (the known as Simhapura) served as the political capital of Champa, My Son was the site of the most important Cham intellectual and religious centre, and also may has served as burial place for Cham monarchs. My Son is considered to be Champa’s counterpart to the grand city of South-East Asia’s other Indian-influence civilisation: Angkor (Cambodia), Bagan (Myanmar), Ayuthaya (Thailand) and Borobudur (Java).
Back to Hoian and explore Hoian charming town on foot.Drop off at your hotel. Overnight in Hoian.
Day 6: Hoian – drive to Hue via Hai Van pass – Hue city (Breakfast, Lunch)
8.00 am: pick up at hotel & drive to Hue for 140 km in a 3,5 hour ride. You travel through Hai Van pass and Lang Co beach – one of the most beautiful beach of Vietnam. Check-in hotel.
In the afternoon: you will visit the two of seven attractive royal tombs, discover more about the architecture, culture & history of Hue and Vietnam. King Tu Duc’s tomb (Tu Duc is a king but also a poet, so his mausoleum is a poet garden, situated in a narrow valley 8 km from the city center), then next to the most interesting emperor’s tombs is Minh Mang King, located 12 km outside of Hue on the west bank of the perfum river, the king that founded the last Vietnamese dynasty of Nguyen. Drive back to your hotel.Overnight in Hue.
Day 7: Half day visit Hue – fly to Saigon – half day sightseeing Saigon (Breakfast, Lunch)
8.00 am: take a scenic boat trip on the perfume river to visit Thien Mu pagoda & drive to visit the Hue Citadel palace complex. It takes 203 years for building & consider as the former imperial capital of Vietnam. Time to discover the home of Vietnam’s last royal dynasty, the Nguyen Dynasty (1802 – 1945): admire the impressive architecture of the palaces, entrance gates, temples, the viewing platforms, the Mandarin buildings, the royal reading room and Hien Lam pavilion. Transfer directly to Hue airport for your flight to Saigon.
Upon arrival, our tour guide welcomes you and transfer to visit the city include: Reunification palace, War museum, Jade Emperor pagoda, Notre Dame cathedral & central post office. Check-in hotel and overnight in Saigon.
Day 8: Saigon departure (Breakfast)
Free time for shopping or optional visit before transfer (no guide) to the airport for your departure flight back home, late check out at hotel excluded.
